Local Advocacy Groups

As social justice educators, we need to already be living the model we want for our students. This means advocating on behalf of a more just and equitable community for all. Below are a variety of advocacy groups around the Midlands area and beyond who would love your support. Working with established groups is a wonderful way to begin learning the skills of advocacy yourself. In addition, creating relationships with experienced advocates provides you mentors and resources to draw upon when launching advocacy projects alongside your students.
